Volkswagen Karmann-Ghia 1600 L 1966.
Unpainted model. Headlights, indicators and rear lights painted. The mould seems tired: a lot of burrs (windows surrounding, rocker panels, wheel arches), and a big moulding join in the middle of the front face.
The interior seems pretty well done, but the deforming windows don’t allow to see it clearly.
This is not the best Busch!
The VW Karmann was born in 1953 on the basis of the Beetle. In 1961, a new model based on the VW type 3 (411), called type 34, bigger and more powerful, is launched. In 1966, it becomes 1600 L.
Features (1966 model): four-cylinder flatbed engine, 1584 cm³, 48.5 kW (66 hp) DIN. Tyres 5.60 × 15. Top speed 150 km/h.
